Llandudno is the largest resort in Wales, lying between the Ormes with two wonderful sandy beaches, the award-winning North Shore and the quiet, sand duned West Shore.
Llandudno has kept its Victorian and Edwardian elegance and splendor, despite its modern attractions. During the Victorian era, the roads in the Great Orme were still fairly primitive and steep slopes prevented all but the safest of legs to reach the summit. Llandudno has become a popular tourist destination.
Llandudno is a very popular resort and is an excellent base for a touring holiday. We have a new multi-screen cinema at Llandudno Junction just visit the site Cineworld to see whats on
We have an excellent Theatre in Llandudno Venue Cymru. Discover what happens at Venue Cymru.
A wonderful day out can be found on the North Wales Welsh Mountain Zoo in Colwyn Bay, just a few miles away.
Regular boat trips are available on request from the pier and bus trips to various surrounding attractions including Snowdonia National Park, the island of Anglesey or one of several villages including Betws-y-Coed and beautiful Swallow Falls.
Golf breaks can also be considered in Llandudno nearby Golf Courses. Day trips to Dublin from Holyhead are also very popular, where you can relax and enjoy a meal or the landscape and shop till you drop before stopping at one of the many local pubs for a drink or two of the black stuff!
Llandudno Pool, recreation center and a good selection of shops and department stores are all within walking distance.
The famous copper mines or artificial ski slope and toboggan run on the slopes of the Great Orme are also very popular and the Great Orme tramway will take you to the summit or more adventurous may wish to take a ride on the cable Lift, for a spectacular view of Llandudno.
